Coping Well: Tools for Emotional Wellbeing
We all experience difficult emotions (stress, frustration, anxiety, sadness), but few of us are ever taught how to actually work with them. This workshop offers an introduction to understanding your emotional responses and building healthier ways to cope with life's everyday challenges.
We'll look into what actually helps (and what doesn't) when it comes to managing difficult feelings. You'll learn practical, evidence-based tools you can start using immediately in your daily life, and even teach those dear to you to use them. You’ll leave with an emotional coping emergency toolkit that you can use anytime heavy emotions visit.

About Laura
Hello, my name is Laura Curta. I am a passionate advocate for psychoeducation, with over 5 years of experience creating interactive workshops on various topics related to emotional wellbeing. I am trained as a psychologist focused on positive psychology and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as a certified life coach. My dream and goal for my career is to contribute to a world where psychological wellbeing services are affordable and easily available, and where workshops like mine bring people together.
In my free time, I do... 'basic' things: I read a lot, go to the gym, spend time with dear ones and try to relax an overly active and talkative mind :) I enjoy being in nature, but I do not like the bugs. My favourite breakfast is oatmeal with chocolate and raspberries, and I am an early riser.
